    Optional +150 DKK

    Prepare the next step

If eligible, turn the conclusion into a Danish letter for the landlord, an English explanation and a complaint-preparation checklist.

The assessment is not an AI guess

Fixed Danish rules calculate the result. AI is used only to draft language in the optional action pack.

Limited data use

Only the optional action pack uses AI drafting, processed on Scaleway's European infrastructure. Paid case data is scheduled for deletion within 30 days and never used by FristCheck for model training.

A self-service tool, not a law firm

FristCheck does not represent you or guarantee an outcome. Every paid result links back to the official Danish Rent Act.

The deadlines depend on what actually happened

  1. Starting point

    Landlord learns you moved out

This starts the inspection deadline where the statutory inspection duty applies.

  2. Within 2 weeks

    Inspection within two weeks

Written notice is normally at least one week. Shorter notice can sometimes be agreed.

    § 187, stk. 3
  3. At inspection

    Report delivered correctly

At the inspection, or within two weeks if the tenant was absent or would not acknowledge receipt.

    § 187, stk. 4-5
  4. Within 2 weeks

    Claim raised on time

The relevant starting date depends on whether the landlord had an inspection duty.

    § 187, stk. 2

What this tool does, and does not do

It checks procedure

Move-in inspection, move-out timing, notice, reports, claim timing and listed repair items.

It does not decide your case

Amounts, evidence, normal wear, causation and other legal rules require separate assessment.
